Developer Terms

These Terms apply to developers submitting plugins to the Flotiq Marketplace. I. Scope Flotiq Marketplace is a platform that presents: - official plugins developed by Flotiq, - plugins developed by third-party community developers. By submitting a plugin, you (“Developer”) agree to these Terms. II. Ownership You retain full ownership of your plugin and all associated intellectual property rights. Flotiq does not claim ownership of your plugin. III. License to Flotiq By submitting your plugin, you grant Flotiq a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to: - list your plugin in the Marketplace, - display its name, description, screenshots, and metadata, - link to your repository or external source, - promote your plugin as part of the Flotiq ecosystem. IV. Plugin License You agree that your plugin must be distributed under a permissive open-source license (such as MIT or Apache 2.0), allowing users to use, modify, and distribute the plugin. You are solely responsible for: - selecting and applying the license, - ensuring compliance with that license, - ensuring that your plugin does not infringe any third-party rights. Flotiq reserves the right to reject or remove plugins with incompatible or unclear licensing. V. External Hosting You acknowledge that: - your plugin is hosted externally (e.g. GitHub), - Flotiq does not host, distribute, or install your plugin, - Flotiq only provides access to plugin listings and references. You are fully responsible for maintaining the repository and ensuring its availability. VI. Developer Responsibilities You represent and warrant that: - you have the right to submit and distribute the plugin, - your plugin does not infringe intellectual property rights, - your plugin does not contain malicious or harmful code, - your plugin complies with applicable laws and regulations. VII. Responsibility and Support You are solely responsible for: - functionality, - security, - maintenance and updates, - and user support related to your plugin. Flotiq does not provide support for community plugins unless explicitly stated. VIII. Contact Information You agree that Flotiq may publish your: - name or company name, - contact details (e.g. email, website, repository), for the purpose of enabling users to report issues or request support. IX. Review Process Flotiq may perform a limited review of submitted plugins before listing them in the Marketplace. Such review may include: - basic functionality checks, - general compliance with submission requirements, - high-level assessment of plugin structure and description. However: - this review is limited in scope, - does not constitute a full audit, - and does not guarantee quality, security, or reliability. Flotiq does not monitor plugins on an ongoing basis and is not responsible for any updates or changes made after submission. Listing a plugin does not imply endorsement by Flotiq. X. Marketplace Nature The Marketplace includes both: - official plugins developed by Flotiq, - community plugins developed by third parties. Community plugins are not owned, maintained, or controlled by Flotiq unless explicitly stated. XI. Termination and Removal Flotiq may, at its sole discretion and at any time: - remove or delist any plugin, - restrict visibility or access, - suspend or terminate a Developer’s participation, - modify or discontinue the Marketplace (in whole or in part), with or without prior notice and without providing a reason. Flotiq shall not be liable for: - loss of access to plugins, - service disruptions, - or any consequences resulting from removal or limitation. You may request removal of your plugin at any time. Removal does not affect: - your ownership of the plugin, - your external repository, - or rights granted under your plugin license. XII. No Warranty Flotiq does not guarantee: - correctness, - security, - reliability, - or availability of any plugin. All plugins are provided “as is”. XIII. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flotiq shall not be liable for: - damages resulting from the use or inability to use any plugin, - data loss, - security incidents, - or any indirect or consequential damages. XIV. Acceptance By submitting a plugin, you confirm that: - you have read and agree to these Terms, - you understand your responsibilities, - you accept full responsibility for your plugin.
