Looking to streamline your event invitation process? With the integration of Flotiq and Pabbly, you can automate sending emails for new events using webhooks and API requests. Here’s a quick overview of how to set up this powerful integration.
First, create two Content Type Definitions (CTDs) in Flotiq—one for events and one for your mailing list. Populate these CTDs with some sample Content Objects (COs) to test the workflow.
Set up a workflow in Pabbly Connect. Choose the Webhook trigger to catch new events created in Flotiq and save the generated Webhook URL.
In Flotiq, create a webhook that triggers on the creation of new events. Paste the Pabbly Webhook URL into the webhook settings.
Configure an API request in Pabbly to retrieve your mailing list from Flotiq. Use the GET method and add your Flotiq API key.
Use an iterator in Pabbly to process each email address from the mailing list. Then, set up the email action using Gmail, ensuring to personalize each email with details from the event.
